| I have a small pond in front yard that is over run with cattail plants, how can I get rid of them without hurting fish or my dog that swims in it? |

You culd do something simple as pull them up. You might need to
cut the roots connecting the plants. And they really like to spread. |

You can increase the depth of the pond where the cattails are. They only grow in water that is shallow enough. |
