The Birds! The Birds!

Apparently the birds just love my pears. I'm finding dozens of eaten pears on the ground daily.

Will the garlic tea also work for birds as well as bugs?

For my sanity! Please help!

Garlic, onions, hot pepper, and citrus oil teas should help slow down the birds from eating your fruit. Maybe a little blood or fish meal in a tea, may make them think something is dead on the tree, and then they may fly away.

Other than shooting the birds or using a large net or foliar cover, I have no other ideas or suggestions.
