I am new to snap dragons, which I have in my garden this year for this first time and which I have been enjoying greatly. My question is this: can I cultivate next year's snap dragons from the seeds in the pods which are on my current plants? Do I have to dry them or simply let them over-winter and plant them in the spring? Does it make sense to even try or is it simply best to plants new plants in the spring? I am in a moderate temperature zone in northwestern Germany (e.g., I leave my gladiola bulbs in the ground during winter; some years they come up, others they don't). Any help you might offer is appreciated. Gay K.
