We have had great blackberries - big and plentiful. However, they aren't always sweet. Is there something one can put on them in the line of an organic fertilizer etc. that will sweeten the berries. Sometimes I wonder if it is the soil as our soil is very sandy with little organic matter. Help!

It's all about the health and related trace mineral availability of the soil. Stick with the basic organic program and the sugars will continue to increase in the fruit.
