What is this? Vine ,fruit

While working my fields I noticed a vine with small orange/red fruit growing wild along my fence line. The fruit is bright colored inside and out with dark almost round seeds. The leaf is I believe 3 lobed and toothed, 2.5 inches acrooss by 3.25. I took some digital pics but didn't see anyway to attach them.

What size is the fruit? Are they in clusters or single? Are there thorns on the vines? Is the foliage heavy or sparse?

The fruit is spaced out not in clusters along the vine. It looks like insects have ate a large portion of the leaves but they do not seem to be thick. There are no thorns. The fruit is some what sweet and is a little smaller than a golf ball.

Are you in Texas? If not, then where are you located? Wild vines in various regions will vary widely. If you want to, email me a photo. I'll see if I have any idea what your vine is.

I am in Texas Erath county near Dublin. The vine is growing in the under brush around some live oaks.
