I am convinced the soil on one side of our house is totally different than the other! I planted dianthus all along the front of our house. On one side of the sidewalk they are flourishing. On the other side, they are wimpy and most have died.
Please - what should I do on the side they are dying??? |

Try this: Mix in cornmeal around the base of each plant and water in and
foliar feed with Garret Juice, Biform liquid, or seaweed & compost tea every other day or so for a week.
You probably have some sort of contaminant in the soil where they are planted. Knocking up the biological activity in the soil will help in two ways; to make nurients avilable to the dianthus and to cleanse the soil.
Good luck! I love those little guys!
