A friend gave me a load of manure that had been sitting out for 6 or 7 months. It smells and feels finished, but I would like to heat it up in my compost pile to insure all the weed seeds are killed. Since this is pretty much decomposed manure instead of fresh, what ratio of manure/browns should I use?
Thanks |

| Maybe start with a 50/50 mix. Keep the new mixture well aerated and constantly moisturized for maximum decomposition of the browns. |
