I too have these bugs and have tried all of the remedys but to no avail. Can anyone tell me what these bugs are and how to get rid of them before they kill my greens out?

Thanks in advance.

What size are they? What shape are they? What kind of color pattern do they have? What is the shape of the head, thorax, abdomen? Do they jump? fly? crawl? Are they fat? thin? What do the legs look like? Do they chew big chunks out of leaves? eat the stems? eat the flowers?

or does it look like a lady bug but with black and yellow instead of red and black?

If their numbers aren't too great, you can hand-pick them, but if there are lots of them, sabadilla dust will kill them. The problem with sabadilla, though, is that it kills beneficials too, and from what I have read and heard, it's getting difficult to find.

The bugs I have are shield shaped and are black and yellow spotted. I have removed lots of the greens and then stepped on the cut off parts in order to smash the bugs.

I have used cottonseed oil juice I got from one organic company and also I used garlic and pepper spray to no avail.
