Anyone read "Southern Living" magazine?? It has a gardening section in its publication and on its website. Mr. Steven Bender is one of the contributors to this section. In a recent article entitled "Good Soil is Job No. 1", Mr. Bender addressed soil amendments without ever mentioning compost. I have traded a few e-mails with him concerning this subject, and he professes to be an "organic gardener". If any of our Ground Crew are SL readers, I'd like to encourage you to write/e-mail Mr. Bender to get him to join our informed Crew and help spread the word through his publication. As HG says, "Converting the world to organics . . . one skeptic at a time!"[/i]
