Howdy folks,
What do I need to do to prep my cannas and agapanthus for the winter? Cut them back? Let them die back on their own?
Also, I have a dwarf banana tree in a big pot. Will that need to come inside?
I'm in Frisco, TX which is either zone 7b or 8a.
Thanks,

Mot-
I have scads of cannas & they die back after the 1st freeze, then it's a good idea to throw the dead foliage in the compost pile & cover the canna area w/mulch. The banana will have to come in, I'm sure. I don't know about agapanthus but someone will.

| At a previous house I used to grow banana trees in the ground. I would let them freeze and cut them back in the spring. They once again would grow and some got to be about 10 feet tall. The last year they lived, I had two small bunches of bananas. |
