In the video archives Howard talks about putting a splash of vinegar in the dogs water to help prevent fleas but the video does not make it clear what type. Should I use regular vinegar from the grocery store or the 10 or 20 percent kind from the feed store?

I believe Howard is talking about a mild natural vinegar such as Apple Cider Vinegar - 5%. You can get this at the grocery, garden centers or feed stores. Read the label; some are apple cider flavored, etc.
