i live near ft. worth (just south a little bit). i am looking for a male & female possumhaw (preferably 'warren's red'). i'm having a hard time finding a nursery that stocks them - & one nursery thought it was some exotic plant. does anyone know where to look?
thanks;

| You may want to try Weston Gardens, not sure if they will have it, but, they have it listed on the website. Green Mama's would be a good place to check with too. :mrgreen: |

Call the nurseries shown in the business directory on this web site. The two Scott mentioned are good first choices.

today i bought a small (small & paid too much) possumhaw. reported to be female (because that is all they buy - no berries). i was told they do not buy male. she told me any holly will pollinate my possumhaw. is this so? is there is good site, a good book, or other source that i can readily get for my library to answer such questions?
thanks |

| We saw possomhaws at HDlandscape supply on bryant irvin on saturday. Pricey, though, but nice size, maybe 6' tall. Can't remember exact price. They are also on my list of wants! m- |
