I have mixed boric acid powder w/ propolyne glycol (safe anti-freeze) and cooked @ approx 265#. I will spray on framing structure of old farm house I am remodeling. It is suppose to build a long term barrier against termites. It is supposedly same formula as Bora-Care($90.00 per gallon).
Has anyone done this?
The b a powder crytalizes after cooking. Seems to spray o.k. when shaken and mixed thoroughly.
I sprayed gro. store (5%) vinegar Dec 28 on my yard. I don't think it killed anything! Have lots of henbit, clover, and other unwanted weeds already firmly established. It worked o.k. in the heat of summer.
