At this time, the wrong date issue where some people couldn't post because they had posted when the date was set at 2/11 should be corrected.....
Last week, while performing a routine hardware upgrade, the
system date on the server was reset to a wrong value. Before it was
corrected, a wrong date of "Feb. 11, 2005" was active on the system for a
few hours. This has caused a number of things in the forum database to
malfunction. It is very complicated to resolve, as there are many places in
the software that dates are stored. However, we are working diligently to
find and fix all the problems.
If you are still having problems with the forums or the forum software, we would like to know about it so we can hunt it down and fix it.....Please post your issues as a reply to this thread, and we'll do our best to get things right as quickly as possible...
We do want you to inform us about any problems that you see happening, and appreciate your patience while we work things out.
Thanks! |

I can't log out.
Also, when I click on the "new posts since last visit" I can see the new posts, but I still get a blank box when I click on the topic. |

Still having some problems:
1. click on any "member profile"> click on "find all posts by..."> click on a subject> result = you get an empty box
2. click on "posts since last visit"> click on a topic> result = you get an empty box
Not complaining, just thought you might like to know. |

Are you still seeing this happen? I just tried to replicate it, and it all works fine for me....
Anyone else seeing this type of behavior?
Thanks! |

| I see the empty box problem (#2) on my laptop, but it worked the last time I accessed it from my desktop machine. |

Wow, nice evil face.... Ok carhoods, JimBleck, and Bluestem, I need a favor if you would....
Can you tell me what your Cookie settings are?
Go to Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy
And let me know what the slider is set to.....
Ideally, it should be set to Medium for our site to interact properly with your browser....
Thanks!! |
