| I'm growing a vegetable garden for the first time. I have prepared the soil with organic fertilizers and hardwood mulches since Nov.2004. I've justed planted a peach tree and a fig tree as well as onions. Can you think of anything else I need to do to have a successful garden my first year. ( It's on a south exposure) |

| I would go heavy on the foliar spray (Garrett Juice or something like that) every week or so. Especially the first year. |

| You might want to add Lava Sand, Green Sand, and 4-6 inches of compost, and agricultural corn meal because it has been an extremely wet year. |

| Go buy Howard's Book on Organic Vegetable gardening in Texas. I use it religiously and it contains information on just about everything you'll need. |
