What is a matted row? I was looking at the difference between annual strawberries and perennial strawberries and the aggie website says the perennial system has matted rows.

Never heard of matted rows. I tried strawberries a years ago and head a good crop. It took two years to get strawberries. I planted them in the shade so the hot sun would not burn them.
