Thougt this may be of interest to some. It does not say you have to live in Grand Prairie.
Show your pride in our state this spring and plant native Texas and adapted plants (and save a little on your water bill). Come learn about Texas SmartScape, Grand Prairie's Water Wise programs, and much more this March. Join us in the meeting room at the Grand Prairie Memorial Library at 901 Conover. Everyone attending all four of these free sessions will receive a gardening kit to help DIG IN! All of the sessions start at 6:30 p.m. and go to 8 p.m. To register, please call 972-237-8082 or email cupton@gptx.org.
