I would think the same way you plant it here in Texas, just a couple of weeks later. I plant asparagus in February here, so late Feb or early March would probably do there. I dig holes eight to twelve inches deep, place one crown in, and cover it back up, spacing the plant crowns about eighteen inches apart.
