What is an organic way to unstop a drain?

Depending on the material that is clogging the drain, a plunger might work some. Orange oil might help as I believe it may have a natural degreaser effect.

It is in the bathroom and probably hair cut and make up oils. I will try orange oil. Plunger basically had no affect.

I've had some success w/baking soda & vinegar followed by lots of boiling H2O 1 hr after.

Is the drain completely stopped up? If the plunger had no effect, you may need the drain "snaked". That has worked 100% of the time we have used it on our laundry drain. We have also used a device which fits on the end of the water hose. It is worked into the drain line and water pressure build up, it inflates to block the line and then pushes an intense stream of water.

Orange oil works OK if the clog is grease or soap based. It won't work well on hair clogs. There is an enzymatic drain cleaner that has been discussed on the board, but I don't recall the name and you must order it through a plumbing company (IIRC). I looked for them at the Organic Show, but didn't find them represented.
