| If your lawn area is a manageable size and terrain, then yes I prefer the reel mower. It's quieter and with sharpened blades, it really gives the lawn a manicured look. If your grass area is expansive and you don't want to break your mowing into sessions, then perhaps the powered mower is right for you. Also your lawn area needs to be somewhat smooth. Reel mowers don't seem to handle bumpy lawns too well (at least IME). |

| Thank you for your prompt reply. My yards (front & back) are a managable size, but the builders didn't really smooth out the yard before putting down the sod. Ok, I'll stick with the power mower that I have. Maybe one day . . . |
