| I watched this morning, with great amusement, as two Mockingbirds did their best to convince a Crow to vacate the premises. You could hear the frustration in their calls as they tried time and again to verbally and physically harass the larger bird enough that it would leave. The Crow remained totally unfazed by the two birds efforts, and continued to pick and peck at some unseen tidbit(s) in the turf. |

| Mr Clean, so you had a little entertainment for a Sunday morning. Would have loved to see them trying to convince the crow to leave. |

| my favorite backyard scene is the jays or mockingbirds chasing the squirrels. The birds are ruthless. I saw one pin the squirrel under a car. The bird stayed on the hood of the car so that when the squirrel would try to leave it would swoop down and attack it. |

I saw a Blue Jay do that to a cat at our old house.
There were too many cats in that neighborhood and not enough Jays to keep them cornered. Hmmm...come to think of it, we have too many cats in this neighborhood. :x |
