I have built a trellis using cedar and copper tubing to train climbing roses. Does anybody know of a natural preservative for the cedar to help retain the color. The cedar on the compost bin that I built is now gray and I was hoping to keep this from happening to the trellis. Thanks in advance for any advice regarding this issue.
