Have you *ever* been able to view videos on the site?
If you haven't already done so, please re-install the Windows Media Player, available at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10/
Let me know if that does the trick for you, thanks!! |

Re-installing media player did the trick. Not sure why, this seemed to be the only place I had a problem.
Oh well, this is my last day and last post I guess. I'll miss it, not that I posted much just reading mostly, but without logging in you do not get the new post indicators so it's a pain to weed through posts to find the new ones.
Later...
PS:The twice a week reminder for a month that my membership was expiring is really annoying! |

I guess they fibbed about the expiration date. I'll keep posting until it actually expires, but don't you hate these long goodbyes? |

Actually, your account doesn't expire until 5/9/05, fwiw.... |

| That information (account expiration date) is available under your account information. |

Doug wrote: Kbrew,
I am also disappointed that you feel this way. You have been a very important part of our community. It is the contributions of each member that makes our community stronger. But please let me be blunt. Is it really the $2 per month that is causing you to leave? If you really wanted to, I bet you could find a dozen ways to save $2 per month. So let's say that the Ground Crew membership doesn't provide $2 worth of value to you in order for you to take the effort to save it from somewhere else. Doesn't the 10% discount on purchases from the many participating retailers and manufacturers save you $24.95 per year? So OK, you don't buy anything from the participating companies. We work really hard to provide great articles and information in the monthly DIRT. I hope you can find some value in each DIRT. And not that I am saying that this has to apply to you, but many of us find it extremely rewarding to spend $2 per month to help others convert and find success using natural organic methods. Second to last, your $2 per month not only provides you with access to the coupons, this forum, video features, the monthly DIRT and more, but it helps to support our research; running of this site; the production of the DIRT, this site and more; our support staff; utilities and other business expenses. I know you can see what we do, and I know you believe in what we are trying to accomplish. I hope you can understand why we are asking for a little over $2 per month in order to support these efforts. Lastly, we appreciate you. We would love for you to continue to be a Ground Crew member. With all this said, if you still feel that you need to go, we will be disappointed, but understanding. We know that you will still be carrying on the crusade.
All my best,
Doug
Although I regret to see kbrew leave us, I do think what Doug is saying here is noteworthy and heart-felt. Do come back and visit the forums anyway.
Godspeed,

I liked the print version of the dirt magazine.
It is not the same to read it online as it is to have a coffee table, and take it outside version.
Printing it is expensive, and a lot of work. |
