Does anyone know of a way to get rid of this weed?? Corn Gluten meal doesn't seem to bother it.

| CGM, this time of year, would act as a fertilizer. It should only be used early sprint (early March) to prevent the germination of weed seeds. It does not do anything to any weed already established. |

this may be common knowledge to you, but it was new to me. i recently read where such "weeds" with those deep tap roots tap into the mineral layers deep where most plants don't go. they bring up these minerals into their foliage which when composted, adds said minerals to the soil to enrich it.
something to think about.

I don't mind the wild carrots, and think they are quite pretty, until they make their little burr seeds that get stuck in my Australian Shepherds hair and cause matted areas that are impossible to get out :)
I usually let them grow until they start to flower, them pull them up and compost them. |
