Squash plants have lots of baby squash. When they get about 2 to 3 inches long they start to swivel up and die, mostly around the bottom
of the plant. Have seen no bugs yet. Anybody have any thoughts on this
problem.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Gordon

I have this problem every year. I noticed today that the first dying off is beginning again. I'm almost positive it's squash bugs. One year I sprayed weekly with a heavy concentrate of garlic/pepper tea. That did the trick. I didn't do it regularly last year and lost all my plants just as they began producing. Even though You don't see bugs, that may be what is happening.

Possibly a lack of adequate or complete pollination.
