It is a day early, or a month late depending on whose calendar you celebrate, but I won't be by a computer tomorrow.

How will you celebrate the day? When was the first Earth Day you celebrated? I can happily say that I joined several students on the first Earth Day in 1970 by leaving our cars at home and riding our bikes everywhere that day.

This was the only activity I found, but I know that at least some Whole Foods stores will have some events.

At 2PM,on April 24, the Order of St. Francis and St. Clare will sponsor workshops on recycling, Composting and Organic Gardening in the Youth rooms at the Cathedral of Hope. All are welcome.

That must be a huge Post Office box, being that it is large enough to house workshops for recycling, Composting and Organic Gardening... :lol:
