Thank you to all of you. good advice. I finally gave up after spraying with garret juice. I tried everything.

Now I have a different question from all of you long timers. How do you get tomatoes to polinate in a greenhouse with no bees or wasp to spread the stuff that makes the tomatoes stay on the vine. We had yellow blooms and they just fell off. we plan to try again in a few weeks if we can find any plants, if not we may plant our own seeds. The really puzzling question is how to get the plants to make tomatoes? We were told to shake them but that did not work.

Tomatoes don't require insect pollination. They self-pollinate, but in an enclosed space, tapping the cages or having good air movement via a fan would probably be beneficial.

Thank you, I guess we need to put a fan in the greenhouse. We are still wondering how we are going to heat it. We are thinking electric heat but have not fully decided yet. would be interested to see how others have handled this problem in Texas.
