I've checked around the site and can't find a mention for a source for a small coop (I need room for 3 chickens only). Realizing that back yard "chickening" is getting VERY popular these days, does someone have an idea of an advertiser with HG or source in the (central as possible) Dallas area? Would appreciate it; the chicks are due to arrive soon, and they need a home, and won't have much time to build it... Thanks!

There are coops in the FarmTek catalog that look rather modern looking. They can easily be moved around (www.FarmTek.com). There are also some coops in the Murray McMurray Hatchery catalog (www.mcmurrayhatchery.com). Neither of these are in the Dallas area, you will have to order. Good luck!!!

Hey, Gina, thanks! I was hoping to avoid shipping charges and that, so we'll see....could be a road trip in my future. Maybe the chicks can wait a little while, since the rescued puppy I took in takes all the mothering skills I have at the moment....
