| I'm looking for somewhere to recycle plastic grocery bags, foam packing material (like you would get with computers, ceiling fans, etc.), and phone books in the North Dallas/Richardson/Plano area. |

Albertsons used to accept clean/dry grocery bags, but we lost the one nearest us, so I don't know if they still do, or even if all of them did. I currently use the Second R and Reuse them as trash can liners in the smaller trash cans around the house. I also use canvas bags while grocery shopping for the b]First R[/b] and Reduce the number of bags I collect.
I can't give you any help on the syrofoam packing material. I take my packing peanuts, bubble pack, and strofoam packing to my Wife's place of business to be Reused there.
I take my old phone books to the City of Garland Recycling facility. |

| :D Yes Albertsons still recycles those plastic bags. The last time I was there I took about 100 bags back for recycling. |

| Now that Dallas has increased the stuff they recycle, I put my extra grocery bags in with the other recycleables in those lovely blue bags. |
