| I wrote once before about an "Autumn Blaze" that I recently planted, it's been about three, maybe four months since I planted the tree. I was wondering is it too late to dig the tree up and replant it properly? Even though I pulled as much of the soil away from the flares, I can't help think that it wasn't enough to do just to expose them. It was planted deep in it's pot and I didn't know to expose the flares when I planted the tree, I just knew not to plant it too deeply, not why I shouldn't. Anyway, I removed enough soil to expose two flares to about three inches. I just don't have a peaceful feeling about this and want to know can I just dig ole' girl up and do right the second time around? Help...anyone!?! |

| Wait until the Fall cool-down before you do anything, then do whatever is needed to bring it up to spec- if that's exposing flare or replanting. |

:D Hey Ent,
Thanks for the reply. I didn't know if I should wait that long, but it does make alot of sense. It will keep us both light on the stress!

Well, high summer, with the heat and lack of rain make it the least successful time for transplanting anything.
