Tony M, Kudos to you and your Wife <insert thumbs up emoticon x2> for providing this opportunity. As discussed, this is a subject that I have great interest, even though my circumstances (OK, my suburban location  ) prevent me from particpating.
Were I going to be in town, you could certainly count me in as an enthusiastic attendee. After the overwhelming success (that I know it will be), I can only imagine the requests for a repeat performance. Count me in for that :D
Best of luck to you both, and I hope you post a follow up - pictures would be great! |

Thanx, Kath-
The seminar was well attended, about 20 people. John Krauss said it was one of the highest attended seminars they have done.
We didn't take any pictures, it took place inside the store.
We had attendies with various levels of interest. Some had meat goats, others had dairy goats but never had a good source of information, a few were brand new and others had no goats but were interested in the subject.
We had a blast. We had nothing to sell or advertise, our only objective was to introduce people to these wonderful animals and to help those who had already discovered them.

I was fortunate enough to have attended...always gathering info for the future farm...as one of the interested non-goat people.
What a great presenter Mary Ann was. She answered all my questions even before I knew I had them. Lots of information, very concise, from selection to care to milking to making cheeses. Also lots of useful input from the other attendees--quite a network here.
A couple of great websites they recommended:
