Can anyone advise on how to eliminate bitter weed from a pasture? I know that heavy fertilization to encourage grass growth and heavy overseeding will accomplish this over time. I've seen it work. But, I was hoping someone had a better suggestion.

My neighbors use corn gluten meal in the spring to prevent germination, heavily over seed in the fall so that the seeds can't find bare ground on which to germinate, and fertilize to encourage good thick grass growth. They have almost totally eradicated it from their property.

Thanks
