I am interested in using moneky grass between a sidewalk and a fence. What is the best variety to use? I would like for it to multiply and spread--with the fence and the sidwalk, I don't think it being aggressive or invasive would be a problem.

I personally have always liked Big Blue Liriope. In the last few years there have been many other grasses that do much better in the Texas sun made available in the DFW area. A good example would be dwarf maiden grass, though it is a bit taller.

A different plant that would do nicely and have a similar look but will add flowers is Day Lilies.
