| My first suggestion would be to try the ones I know root and grow in water, which are rosemary and basil. You could root these in a sunny window, in water, and see fresh shoots shortly. I suggested this to my daughter who lives in New York, with no dirt in sight! Cilantro might be something to try in dirt, since it is way too hot most of the time here to grow it. |
