Can anyone recommend a good reference source for VERY general questions about creating a wildflower meadow? Some of the quesions I have include 1. Necessary prep ? (I'd be replacing bermudagrass, mostly) 2. Minimum effective area for seeding? 3. Seed souces? 4. Seed mixture appropriate for North Texas? 5. Use native grasses also? 6. What about winter? Can/should I plant a winter "green manure"?

Treat yourself to a road trip and go to the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower center down near Austin and you will learn and get to see wonderful things. I enjoy it everytime I go.
