1) What are the largest container variety tomatoes a person can grow? Most container varieties I've seen are so small. In this Earthbox, you can't plant a variety that is designed to grow in the ground, can you? (I think I read everything on their website...)
2)Also, how long into the fall do tomatoes produce? |

| If your container is large enough, you should be able to grow any tomato you want. "Patio" tomatoes will do okay in smaller pots, but they don't have much taste, imo. I would want at least a twenty gallon pot per plant. |

| Sorry, I meant to answer your other question also. Tomato plants will produce until first freeze, but what you will find is that you will have loads of green tomatoes that need to be picked before the freeze. At least that is my experience. |

| Thanks! Taste is what I must have, and I agree those patio type don't have a lot. |
