| We have a bare yard we were going to plant with Rye this fall, then seed Bermuda next year. How fast does Rye germinate? If we plant today or tomorrow, will it sprout enough to handle the potential very heavy rain we could have this weekend? Thanks |

It looks as if we're not going to get as much rain as originally thought; so we're going to go ahead and plant our rye seed.
There's a difference in cereal rye and ryegrass. Which do you have?

| Under the right conditions you can have green sprouts in 3-5 days. I'm not sure those conditions can be had in nature, though. |
