| Just bought a new home that already had the landscaping done. The lawn is St. Augustine with some kind of 6 ft Oak in front. I'm concerned about the prep of the soil before the lawn and tree were planted. They lay a 1/2 inch of sand on top of the soil before the grass is put down and I watched the landscape company plant trees next door and there wasn't any prep work. Just dig the hole and drop the tree in. Should I dig up the tree and re-plant it? What about the lawn? The lawn and tree were planted about 3 months ago. |
