Does anyone have thoughts on how the onion crops will be this year? Our weather has been strange to say the least since last fall, both temperatures and rainfall amounts. I finally planted some onions in early Feb..then we stayed in the 60's for a while, then went into the 20's..then had almost 5 inches of rain last weekend, and hit 93 the other day. My plants are slowly growing, but not looking like they usually do. I am thinking it is too warm for these 'cold weather' crops to actually flourish. Anyone have ideas on this? Thanks for your tips!

Last year I planted the onions late (April!) and they grew very well all through the summer...so I doubt it's too warm now.
