OK Let's get back on the original topic here.

:D Hooray! The word is out! Howard will be on KSKY 660 AM from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Sundays!

By the way, thanks Jenny. While working on this message, the phone rang and your post got there before mine.

Yes, it sure will be great to hear his voice again over the airwaves. All is right with the world now, let's work to make it better!

I'm SO sorry, Nadine.boo-hoo boo-hoo

I was trying to find who would be a good replacement. I can't think of any, can you? I went to my library and found some organic gardening videos. I watched one of them. The man was organic and knowledgable, but was quite boring and unprofessional production( sorry if I sound unkind). I was doing my best to ignore that. He had some good ideas, though. We are so blessed to have DD here(he is not boring and is professional).

Anyways, I found DD on Your House and Home just yesterday. According to the schedule, you can see it at 6am on Sat and Sun on Fox KDFW. You can watch the previous shows on the site. The show is new, I suppose.

Nadine,

You were right, mystery not all solved.

So, you can all tell me I was wrong. He is not displacing an anti-organic host. I think KSKY had Jerry Baker on. He swings both ways (I mean organic and nong), but not in the same time slot.

I really like KSKY, but it could not have been his first choice. Their ERP (power) is not nearly what WBAP had.

I don't want to know what I don't want to know, but I want to think there was a good reason for the disruption. He said the effort to improve meant he would not be on the air, but how can less power be better--unless maybe he has more control over sponsors?

OK.

As for getting off topic, it is easy to do. As for anyone replacing the Dirt Doctor, it simply cannot be done. Someone may fill a position, but no one can replace Howard or any one else for that matter. Although your intention is most likely to suggest the filling of a position, I just have to clarify this detail.

OK.

I would not use the word "wrong” it is too harsh. I would say you were mistaken. In all probability, wishful thinking could have influenced your statement that the ‘mysteries will be solved’.

I understand the concern over the wattage of KSKY, but WBAP has not always been 50,000 watts...

kchervey wrote: Also, the answer you are looking for is PODCASTING. It is the greatest, you just get some free software like Itunes, and then start telling it what talk shows to download, and it keeps up with them. Some shows are on the program, others are not. Of those that are, some charge, but most are free. It is a lot easier to do than explain, but here is a page that tries to explain it: http://www.krld.com/pages/2872.php?

Those with mp3 players can then easily have them automatically download to their players. Those without can save to CDs, or audio tapes, or they can listen on their computer.
Yes, I want to know when podcasts are available. That way I can listen to it when it's convenient for me, which can be some pretty odd times. Might even attract an entirely new generation to organics.

*Working to improve broadcast.

*Looking for radio stations.

*Because of the improvements, won't hear broadcast on weekend of March 5th.

Kathe learned it was not WBAPs decision...

I hope they have podcasts

Right. Still looking for other radio stations to broadcast the show. I encourage everyone who is passionate about having the show in as many places as possible to step up and take action! Contact your relatives, your friends, your friend's friends. Recommend the show to any other garden or otherwise like-minded forums in which you participate. This is a great opportunity to get into more cities nationwide!
