My Mom has a Texas Mountain Laurel in her yard. Two years ago it bloomed for the first time and had beautiful, vibrant purple blooms. Last year the blooms were lavender. This year they are a dirty, pale white color. Does the tree need some sort of amendment to return to purple blossoms? Why have the blossoms faded over the past couple of years? I haven't found any reference to this issue any place I've looked.

This should actually be posted in another section besides "How to Use This Discussion Board". Try the Ornamental Flower section. :wink:
