My tomato plants have been in the ground for about a month; they are about 2 ft tall and are making blossoms. Someone said I should pinch them off because the plant is too immature to start producing fruit.

Anyone have any comments?

No, that's too much trouble. The early flowers will fall off but fruit will start to set pretty soon and you should have a good crop.
