Hello, This is my first complete year for raising Guiena Birds. Mostly they are for bug control, the rest is enjoyment. I love to see the little guys running. Now, one of the girls have laid a nest full of eggs and I want to hatch them. I will take all of the advice anyone will give me.
Thanks

We managed to keep our baby guineas alive until they started roosting in trees. Then the owls picked them off.

How are you doing?

I wonder if ladyvine was able to hatch some guinea eggs.

I too lost some to predators - until I built a coop and kept them penned for 6 weeks to imprint them...this was right about a year ago. Since then, I've not had any losses to predators. They eat grasshoppers during the day and then go back to their coop before dusk.
