| I have not read that cutting back the green will make the heads larger..personally I would not. As far as the onions go, you should be able to see the tops of the oonions above the dirt line and you can decide when you'd like to pull them up, depending on the size you want. I would not cut back the greens on any plant like that. Depending on the plant, sometimes the green tops will die back telling you when it's time to pick. |
