Hello ladies and gents. This is my first post on this forum but I am sooooo ready to learn and participate.
Ok, so here is my first problem.
I have horrendous problems with aphids on my apple trees! I live about 60 miles south of houston and about 5 miles from the coast.
I have tried Neem but I have to use it practically everyday as the litttle creatures come back in droves everyday.
What can I do to get control of them?
Oh, and by the way, I do have problems with leafminers and the such on my citrus plants. I have tried volck oil and a few other products but the creatures still come back. The are not nearly as bad as the aphids but they are real pests. |

Easy- Garlic Pepper tea does it for me every time.
Also doesn't hurt that I release lady bugs most springs, half for fun and half to get a decent population around for eating aphids.
See the updated sticky at the top pf the forum on hos to make Garlic Pepper tea concentrate. |

I made some g/p tea and sprayed it on my apples. All aphids are gone except on one tree. I am not sure if they are dead and just still there or if they are still alive.
I also put some g/p tea on some of my grapes for some similar, but not the same, bugs. We will see how that turns out. |
