I am looking for some help identifying some small ants that are living on the underside of a potted Jalapeno plant’s leaves. They seem to be tending to clusters of small translucent yellow spheres, I assume to be eggs, attached to the leaves’ underside, and have been eating the budding flowers. I don’t mind them per se, however I would prefer if they weren’t eating the immature flowers. Any suggestions?

I checked last evening and it turns out that they are aphids. Tiny little guys. Anyway, that definitely clears up some of my confusion. I really appreciate the insight. What are some organic controls I could use to repel these critters other than working to maintain healthy beneficial insect populations?

I dont know except for lady bugs, and spraying water to know them off. Powdered sulfur may help, but will kill the 'good' bugs as well. If you find another way, please post!

Try liquid seaweed. One ounce to the gallon of water or you could use Garret Juice.
