We have been part of a rescue organization for Great Pyrenees and because we have livestock, we "test" the animals first to ensure they are compatible with our goats. Some dogs will chase or nip at goats instead of protecting them.
We have three dogs and need only two. Here is a description of the dog we have available:

Ophelia's info...

Breed: Great Pyrenees
Size: Large approx 60 lbs
Color: White - 100%
***: Female
Age: Young

Ophelia is:

good with kids
good with goats
good with dogs
good with cats
up to date with shots
already spayed

Ophelia's story...

Ophelia has been tested with all types of animals, has no aggression whatsoever to any animals or kids. She just a super sweet girl. She's living on our farm and stays outside most of the time, but she has been tested in the house and had no accidents. Ophelia would make an excellent inside dog. She does have a former injury to her hips, (she was probably hit by a car) so she walks differently.
She and the other dogs have been responsible for zero loss of livestock (chickens and baby dwarf goats) for the past 4 years. We hear coyotes most every week and have many bobcats in the area. Our property is fenced but she has never dug out.
We are in McKinney, TX but will deliver a reasonable distance if you can't pick her up. If you would like a picture of her or want to come visit, tony.manasseri@hughes.net, or call 972-837-2090.
Thanks,
Tony M
