| Wonder if someone can help me identify something...when I described it to someone they said it sounds like a weed they recall slightly that had stickers they think. The pods looked sort of like tiny pumpkins but brownish. I saw small pods or seed like things the other day used as a Halloween decoration; they did look like very small (smaller than an M&M) pumpkins. I asked the store owner what they were and she said they are a type of seed but she couldn't remember what they were; they were painted orange to further resemble a pumpkin so not sure if they started out brown or what. Does someone know what these are? Thanks. |

| In case anyone might be able to help identify the seeds I'd like to find what plant they belong to, the person who described this to me as a weed with stickers has written back that the plant grew maybe a couple of feet tall with silvery yellow green leaves and made a tiny yellow pointed petaled flower in early summer. She remembers it in west TX. Would appreciate any help. Thanks, S |
