| The previous homeowners left me a garden that had turned into a jungle of hackberry and other aggressive undesireable weeds. I cleaned it out, tilled the dirt, added lava sand, greensand, and dry molasses. I put newspaper down for a weed block and several inches of cedar mulch. That was two years ago and now that the newspaper and mulch have deteriated the weeds are coming back with avengance. My question is, can I use the fabric weed block in the organic program to stop the very aggressive weeds? Or should I just use vinegar over and over? |

| No, just use the vinegar sprays, a little more elbow grease and mulch. The plastic products don't work and intefer with the natural systems in the soil. The surface of the soil is the most important layer. |
