I just bought a home that has two crepe myrtles planted in the shade. They have very little foliage and no blooms. They've been there a while, but can I transplant them to a sunny spot? How do I do that?
I also have a Chinese maple planted in the full sun. Should I swap them?
Each tree is about 8-10 feet tall.

| The crepe myrtle can be transplanted easily but best to wait til fall. If you Japanese maple, yes it can be moved also. The green varieties will do fine in the sun however - under an organic program of course.. |
